Building a Custom Home in Tampa
Quality Brothers Construction is a family-run custom home builder serving Tampa and Hillsborough County. We build on infill lots in established neighborhoods, replace older homes with new construction, and build new homes in growing areas like Riverview, Brandon and Valrico.
Tell us about your lot and what you have in mind, and we will help you understand what it will take to build it.
What to Plan for When Building in Tampa
Building in Tampa comes with its own set of details. Here is what we look at on every project:
- Permitting through the City of Tampa or Hillsborough County, depending on your address
- Tree protection rules, which can affect where your home sits on the lot
- Flood zone and finished floor elevation, especially in low-lying neighborhoods
- Demolition and site prep when replacing an existing home
- Wind-load and hurricane requirements under the Florida Building Code
Floor Plans or Fully Custom
Start from one of our floor plans designed for Florida living, adjust it to fit your lot and lifestyle, or design something entirely your own. Either way, you work directly with the builders, not a sales office.
